for a typical three-bed semi-detached, after the SEAI grant. That is often less than a new gas boiler. Every home is different, so we confirm the price in writing after a free site visit.
Heat pump installs usually start 3 to 4 weeks after booking.

Every quote is free, in writing and valid for 30 days. The price we quote is the price you pay, unless something unexpected turns up, and that is always discussed with you first.

DDV Plumbing & Heating is a family business based in Killiney. There are six of us, family members and two apprentices, with three vans on the road across south Dublin and Wicklow.
Heat pumps are now most of our work. We also fit and service gas and oil boilers, underfloor heating and heating controls, and look after small commercial premises such as golf and football clubs.

We work across south Dublin and down the coast, from Ballsbridge through Dún Laoghaire and all the way to Wicklow town.
After the SEAI grant, a heat pump often costs less than a new gas boiler. A three-bed semi-detached usually comes to about €2,000 to €3,000 after the grant. The price depends on the size of your home and its BER rating. We always do a site visit before giving you a written quote, and we help you with the grant.
We cover south Dublin and the coast from Ballsbridge down to Wicklow town. That includes Dún Laoghaire, Foxrock, Sandyford, Dundrum, Blackrock, Dalkey, Killiney, Bray, Greystones, and beyond. We don't cover areas north of Ballsbridge.

Most jobs can be booked in for the following week. Heat pump installations usually start 3 to 4 weeks after booking. If you've lost heat in winter, we treat that as urgent and aim to get to you the same or next day.
Yes. We're RGI (Registered Gas Installer) registered, which is the required qualification for all gas work in Ireland. We're also SEAI registered installers for heat pumps.
All our work carries a 12-month warranty. The heat pump carries a 5-year warranty. We register it for you, and it needs a service every year to stay valid. Underfloor heating installations come with their own 5-year service and guarantee.
Yes, absolutely. We're SEAI registered installers, so we can carry out grant-eligible work and guide you through the grant process. There are significant grants available for switching from oil to a heat pump, which makes it a very worthwhile conversation to have.
No, that's not something we offer. We specialise in heating systems, including heat pumps, gas and oil boilers, underfloor heating, and central heating. We also handle pump repairs and small commercial contracts. For general plumbing or drainage, you'd need a different contractor.
